1. i am dead set against commodity fetishism, against labor dissimulation. i design and make everything in los angeles. the yarn is mostly from colourmart.com, a uk firm that buys and resells yarn remainders from european mills. i use a studio sk560 knitting machine—its energy source is my body. Each piece takes between 1 and 12 hours or so . . .

  2. essentially this is all an art project considering labor value, fantasy (via magic: the gathering, shakespeare, dolly parton, pokémon {“johto to jericho”}), grief, gender & silhouette, & religious discourses of virtue and sin. it examines the fact that dress is immemorial and at the heart of social life, exploitation, and sensuality

  3. it’s all mourning costume—how to dress for loss across scales, person to world

  4. or: here’s some knitwear to don for the gay beach, to wear while screenshotting etymologies, to sweat in dancing with your friends; purchase it if only to support the usps. do not wear it when in the clutches of zoom

  5. knitting is breathwork against screens, transhistorical pixel art, immersion in the rhythm of memory. it produces far less waste than cut&sew. it has been a godsend in the wake of my father’s death

  6. returns, generally yes. message me. almost always i will refund all but shipping cost as long as it is evidently unworn

  7. questions about fit, or anything else, please ask! i love to converse about clothes. everything i sell counts as a ‘sample’—ie i’ve worn it, maybe one or two others will have worn it for a photoshoot or something. if anything is less than ‘like new,’ i will note

  8. everything is one-of-a-kind. i am selling these as artworks, which incidentally may be worn

  9. if there’s an item you adore but cannot afford please message me
